Backpacking Tips

Backpacking isn’t hard. It’s just walking – right? Well, while that much is true it gets a little more involved when you consider the fact you’re walking for days and, with that, carrying all your necessities with you. Now, to be sure there are all sorts of opinions about what the best approach is. Ultralighters will tell you only carry the minimum; that way you can complete more miles in a day, week, month. Others will pack their fears, carrying some items they’ll never use. The point is, we’re all different and we all will travel and camp differently. Here I present my idle thoughts on such topics. Maybe there will be a gem or two that you find useful. Be sure to check back as I’m always adding new epiphany’s.
